With great regret today we say goodbye to a great champion and especially friend!
For many years Pariani has been trust partner of this great champion that today has passed away at the age of 64.
Willi Melliger was one of the most successful Swiss show jumping riders in history. He won the Silver Medal at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games aboard his trusted Holsteiner, Calvaro. Together with the Cantus-son he also claimed the Silver Team Medal at the Games in Sydney. Also at the European Championships Melliger and Calvaro collected the necessary medals, among others the golden individual medal in 1995.
