Born in 1932, Aurelio Mutinelli, undisputed protagonist of Pariani’s history for over 70 years, celebrated his 90th birthday on Saturday, February 5.
Aurelio is the perfect, working archive of Pariani and therefore of many episodes of all great Italian horsemanship, right from its origins.
When he joined the company – in 1950, barely eighteen – he knew practically nothing about leather and horses.
But he was quick to acquire from his uncles Pariani and their craftsmen an experience that already had almost 50 years of history.
And so, when his time came to take over the company, Aurelio continued to embody Pariani’s unparalleled wisdom for decades.
Until he passed the reins to his children, Caterina and Carlo: the fourth generation of the Pariani Mutinelli family inextricably linked to the first and only historical brand of Italian horsemanship.
One day Guido Dominici said of him, during a competition: “He’s like the doctor or the farrier. I hope never to use it. But when I see Mr. Aurelio nearby, I feel safer”.
Tuesday, February 8 from 17.30 we expect you in Pariani to celebrate the birthday of Aurelio Mutinelli.
